How can I use Digg to get additional traffic?
OK, so now that you know what Digg is you can see that you can easily take some of your own content and add it to the Digg directory. I have found that even if you don't get to the top of the directory you still get a considerable amount of traffic to your site. Digg being a very well known and reputable site also gets spidered by the search engines very quickly and you could see your article featured in the top ot the search engines very quickly.
Finding yourself at the top of the directory can get you thousands of hits.
How do I Digg My Content?
Once you have written your content go to digg.com and sign-up for an account. Once you have an account each time you want to digg content you will need to log-in.
Click on the submit new in the menu. Fill in your URL. Choose your content type. Click continue. Now enter your title and a description. Choose a topic that best fits then enter the captcha and click on the submit story.
That's it! You now have posted your content to Digg. Enjoy the traffic.
